Home of the Gods but more like hades

Today's hike is to ascend Mt Zas, the highest point in the Cyclades! Surprisingly this is a mostly uphill venture.

Apparently Mr Zeus spent his childhood here while trying to avoid his dad, Cronus, who had a penchant for eating his kids.

We ascend the road less travelled and pass the corpses of goats who have failed the ascent.

The weather is less than pleasant and we become enveloped by howling winds. As we approach the summit we are rewarded by stunning views of fog.
We descend by a gentler path and encounter many fine examples of eurotrash
