May we survive this day

Today turns out is a public holiday,May Day-no not a day for all those in need of help but in fact a day for all the pinkos to march around the streets and cause general mayhem. Are you lookin' at me?

They seem like a fairly dour bunch and we discover up every side street there are squadrons of heavily armed militia ready to pounce at the first sign of trouble. We later read guidelines for visitors saying to avoid these marches at all cost!
We then climb up to the top of Mt Lycabettus along with the usual Eurotrash-normally we could take the funicular but today all transport is on strike so we ended up having to strap the tampons to our feet.
Anyway the views were worth the effort expended
We then wend our way wia the winding twack wayback to our willa.
Drinkis are enjoyed on the rooftop of our digs and then a fancy schmancy restaurant for dinnera deconstructed souvlaki turned into foam
